Managing director
Eirik is the managing director at Langsikt and is responsible for policy development, partnerships, and communications, among other things. Previously, Eirik was a policy director at Norad and worked as a financial policy advisor for the Conservative Party's Parliamentary Group, as well as in business development at Visma. He holds a Master's degree in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from NTNU and is the chairman of the board for the Gi Effektivt foundation, among other positions.
Research director
Aksel is the research director at Langsikt and is responsible for the think tank's analyses and policy development. He is a political scientist and philosopher who has long worked at the intersection of economics, politics, and ethics. He leads a research project on our obligations during pandemics and has taught AI ethics at Harvard University, the University of Oxford, and the University of Oslo. Sterri has been a commentator for Dagbladet and has written books on topics including social democracy and the Norwegian Labour Party.
Senior advisor
Sigrid Bratlie works part-time at Langsikt focusing on biotechnology and security. She is educated as a molecular biologist at the University of Glasgow, Imperial College London, and the Institute of Cancer Research. Her PhD was awarded the H.M. King's Gold Medal in 2015. She has been a senior advisor at the Biotechnology Council and is also a special advisor at the Norwegian Cancer Society and project manager for gene technology at NCE Heidner Biocluster. Senior Advisor
Cindy is a Senior Advisor at Center for Long-Term Policy, where she works on aid and development policy. She holds a master's degree in political science from UiO and a master's degree in international environmental studies from NMBU. She has 14 years of work experience from, among others, PwC, Norad, and the World Bank where she has worked on climate adaptation, climate finance, natural disaster prevention, health preparedness, food security, social safety nets and inclusion of vulnerable groups.
Senior Advisor
Tellef Solbakk Raabe is Senior Advisor at Langsikt, where he works with artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. He holds a master's and doctoral degree in sociology from the University of Cambridge and in recent years has worked as a researcher at SNF at the Norwegian School of Economics. He has researched how media and technology work in society and is particularly concerned with political economy, regulation, strategy and innovation. Tellef is a columnist in Aftenposten and an active publisher.
Advisor
Fride is an advisor at Langsikt, where she works on aid policy, internal systems, and support for the managing director. She holds a Master's degree in Physics and Mathematics from NTNU, with a year of exchange studies in Statistics at the University of California, Berkeley. She has worked as a consultant at Visma Consulting and as a data scientist at one of Norway's largest energy companies.
Advisor
Peder works on artificial intelligence and biotechnology and security in Langsikt. In the spring of 2026, he has a leave of absence from his work as a Fellow in Medical Ethics at UiO to work in Langsikt. He holds a master's degree in philosophy from the University of Oxford and has also studied social economics at UiO, working part-time for FHI.
Project position untill end of February 2026
Johannes works with biotechnology and other emerging technologies in Langsikt. He has previously been a legal adviser to the Liberal Party in Parliament and an intern in the OECD's tax department, EY, KPMG, and the Ministry of Finance. He has a degree in social economist from NTNU and LSE, and a lawyer specialising in international tax law from UiO and Vienna.

Frida is a advisor in Langsikt, where she assists with administrative support. She holds a master's degree in food science and a bachelor's degree in biology from NTNU. She has a background in project management as an operations consultant in Orkla.
Associated advisor
Preben Monteiro Ness is a part-time adviser at Langsikt (20 %), where he works on artificial intelligence. He is currently a PhD Fellow in AI at NTNU Trondheim and Simula Research Laboratory, where he researches the theoretical foundations of safe and robust AI. He holds a bachelor's and master's degree from the University of Cambridge, and has many years of experience in AI research and development in both academia and business.
